Do you ever find yourself staring at a blank sheet of paper and not knowing where to start when painting any subject? I've been there! In this video, I give you the 5 basic steps to paint literally anything with watercolor. Yep, that includes landscapes, animals, flowers…anything!

So next time you sit down to paint, remember this:

1. Sketch the basic shapes.
2. Draw the contour of the subject.
3. Paint the base layer.
4. Add midtones.
5. Finish with darkest (and highlight) details.
