June is both my birthday month (turning 34 this year) and marks the month TEN YEARS ago that I quit my day job and went full time with my online, creative business! That’s a BIG DEAL! With over 75% of businesses failing within the first five years of operation, I decided, this is really special and I have YOU (yes, you!) to thank for it. I had no clue what I was doing when I started selling art prints and wedding stationery 10 years ago, but turns out, I really like business and strategy and providing the world with answers to their art and business questions.

How I'm Celebrating My 10 Year Business Birthday! 

My Priorities

The month of June is really going to be a celebration of YOU.

The support I’ve received over the last years is truly why I’m even able to celebrate my tenth year of business. There’s been A LOT of ups and downs, headaches and tears, but the support, the comments on YouTube and Instagram and the email responses we get are truly the lifeblood of this whole operation.

So my priorities for this birthday celebration are going to be about you guys. I’m one of those people that clams up and gets super awkward opening presents on my birthday anyways, so I thought I’d be the one gifting YOU with presents. Backwards, I know, but it’s my birthday so I make the rules!

Oprah-Status Giveaways

With that said, I’m going to be celebrating my 34th year of life and 10th year of business with giving away lots of free you-know-what. Like Oprah handing out free cars, except I’m not a baller like Oprah. I’ve been putting together some truly unique and special gifts and giveaways for you all to celebrate.

Yes, there will be discounts, but more importantly, I want to connect with you all so get excited for what we’ve got up our sleeves because it’s going to be a PARTY! 

Looking Ahead

Just like writing or creating New Year’s goals and resolutions, this trip around the sun for me and my business is truly exciting and monumental. This upcoming year has an incredible amount of projects both passion focused and business focused that I think are going to be show-stoppers. With my third book coming out in March of 2024, we’ll be throwing the largest virtual book release party and workshop this side of the internet has ever seen and I’m creating other fun projects I’m DYING to put out into the world.
