Do you know what gets me excited and geared up for a new year? Planning out my entire year's promo calendar!

Last week, my team and I sat down on a few Zoom class and laid out our entire 2021 calendar.

I know it can feel daunting but doing this strategic work ahead of time can help you to give you clarity and focus while you create content throughout the year.

And I think this year especially has us all ready for the feeling of a fresh start a new year brings.

Little Pearls of Wisdom

  • [02:00] An important part of this process is reflecting on what worked and what didn't work the past year.
  • [03:20] Block off 4-6 hours to do this exercise.
  • [04:30] In the first meeting looked carefully at trends, seasons, holidays, and culture norms.
  • [09:00] We don't just launch something when enrollment opens. Advanced planning helps you what content to focus on before the launch happens.
